I’m Sarai Legaspi — a proud Latina, seasoned insurance professional, and founder of Reliable Insurance Brokers LLC. My journey into this industry wasn’t planned — it was discovered. Like many first-generation professionals, I was simply searching for opportunity. I faxed my résumé to every listing in the newspaper, and when State Farm called, I had no idea that moment would change the course of my life.
I started in Nebraska, young and Latina in a corporate world where I rarely saw faces like mine. The training was tough, the culture unfamiliar, and every week someone was let go. But I stayed. I learned resilience, discipline, and how to thrive in spaces where I wasn’t sure I belonged.
Over the next 20+ years, I worked in every corner of insurance — call centers, underwriting, bank partnerships, and community-based agencies. That’s where I discovered my true calling: building real relationships and making sure people understood their coverage. Insurance, to me, was never just about policies. It was about protecting families, stabilizing small businesses, and giving people the peace of mind to dream bigger.
In 2011, I moved to Washington. Four years later, I bet on myself and launched Reliable Insurance Brokers. It was terrifying — and the best decision I’ve ever made. Nearly eight years in, I’ve built an agency grounded in trust, integrity, and care. If I wouldn’t sell it to my own mother, I won’t sell it to you.
As a Latina in a male-dominated industry, I’ve faced discrimination and been underestimated. But I never compromised who I am. I built this business with heart — treating every client like family and standing firm in my commitment to do what’s right.
My work doesn’t stop at my agency doors. I serve as the Small Business Program Coordinator for Mi Centro, a nonprofit supporting Latino and Indigenous entrepreneurs with training, grants, and mentorship. I also founded the South Sound Latino Chamber of Commerce, creating a seat at the table for businesses who’ve been left out of the conversation for too long. For me, success is not measured by policies sold, but by communities lifted.
Off the clock, I’m a wife, stepmom, and believer in big family adventures. With my husband, Luis, and our three kids, life is full of movie nights, quad rides, and memories we’ll never forget. Add in our two Frenchies, Yogi and Tiger, and there’s never a dull moment.

Eunice Avina, Community Relations & Operations Manager

Eunice is a spirited and joyful soul who brings warmth, integrity, and purpose to everything she does. Raised in a faith-driven family devoted to serving others, she grew up in church, learning early the importance of compassion, community, and leading with love. These values remain at the heart of her work and life today.
She graduated from New Mexico State University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Education. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Eunice was on the path to becoming a full-time teacher, but when schools shifted to remote learning, her journey took a new turn. She joined Reliable Insurance Brokers as a personal assistant—initially unsure about the insurance industry. However, her natural curiosity and passion for people led her to earn her license and embrace a new calling.
Now approaching her five-year anniversary in the insurance field, Eunice has become a trusted and respected advisor. She takes her work seriously, never cutting corners, and is deeply committed to helping clients feel secure, informed, and cared for.
Outside of work, Eunice finds deep joy in family and the beauty of the world around her. Whether hiking through wooded trails, playing games with the kids, or enjoying a quiet sunset, she believes life is an adventure best lived with laughter, gratitude, and an open heart. Her family is her foundation—her greatest blessing and daily reminder of the power of love and meaningful connection.

Karina Pulido, Insurance & Legacy Planner

Karina Pulido Herrera is proudly 100% Latina, born and raised in Córdoba, Veracruz, Mexico. Her journey reflects resilience, strength, and a deep commitment to growth. From a young age, Karina was active in her community, serving as a youth leader and music coordinator in her local Catholic parish—a role that sparked her lifelong love of singing.
After completing high school near her hometown, Karina pursued higher education and ventured out on her own. Her career began in the hospitality industry, where she gained valuable experience working at premier destinations such as Xcaret México, Único 20°87°, and later at the grand opening of a luxury resort in Los Cabos as a spa inventory specialist.
In 2023, Karina embraced a new chapter—one of courage and transformation. As a new mother to her daughter Laia, she made the life-changing decision to seek asylum in the United States in search of safety and opportunity. Since arriving, she has faced every challenge with determination and faith.
Karina joined Reliable Insurance Brokers with a strong sense of purpose: to build a stable future for her family while serving others with compassion, honesty, and integrity. Her journey has given her a deep understanding of the value of trust, support, and personalized care—qualities she brings to every client interaction.
Fluent in Spanish and driven by a spirit of service, Karina is honored to help others navigate insurance with clarity and confidence. She believes in lifting others as she rises and strives daily to be a positive role model for her daughter and her community.
